A new contractor has been appointed to complete the external works to a Northumberland leisure centre after Tolent went into administration.
Northumberland based contractor Premier Plant & Civil Engineering Limited has been appointed as principal contractor to complete the project at Berwick Sports and Leisure Centre.
Work will start on March 27 and include the completion of a new car park, a play park and landscaping.

The new leisure centre building was already complete and had been operational for a year, with the demolition of the old Swan Centre was also complete.
Northumberland County Councillor, Jeff Watson, Cabinet member for healthy lives, said: “Advance Northumberland have been managing the build on behalf of the council and has been working with the administrators, the current subcontractors and professional advisors to appoint a new contractor as quickly as possible.
“It is great that the project is being re-started so quickly and that customers can soon enjoy the additional car parking.“
Works are expected to fully complete by August 2023 with the first additional car parking spaces available for use by early July 2023.
When completed the car park will provide 171 Spaces and 14 electric vehicle charging points.
More than 300 jobs were lost when Tolent was put into administration last month.
The completion of the car park at Berwick Leisure Centre and work to develop Bedlington Town Centre were both left in limbo as work came to a standstill.
