A new exercise trend is taking over Lanarkshire.
Clubbercise is a dance class that helps people get fit and keep healthy in a fun and uplifting environment.
The workouts are in the dark, with dance music played in the background. Participants usually dress in bright clothes with glowsticks.
There are roughly 100,000 people taking regular Clubbercise classes with over 1000 instructors across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.
The classes are growing in Lanarkshire too, with hundreds of ladies taking part in a local session each week.
In Newmains, local instructor Megan Hilditch has been running her class for five years in the local NCT Centre.

Attracting ladies of all ages, the classes are proving to be a success with new members signing up all the time.
Speaking to Lanarkshire Live, Megan said: "I started the group in 2017 and since then it has been a huge success.
"The class is different to others people may be used to and people come to Clubbercise for a bunch of different reasons.
"As the class is in the dark and there is loud music, people sometimes prefer that if they are perhaps conscious.

"And as well as improving your physical health, the class is really good for giving you positive mental thoughts too.
"We have all ages of women coming, from 18 all the way to people in their 60s. Everyone is always made welcome at a class, it is great fun."
