New cinema opens in Selfridges store

What’s better than going to the cinema after a shopping spree? Thanks to Selfridges you can do it all inside their famous store.

The world-renowned retailer has opened a permanent cinema in its Oxford Street store in London.

It’s the first time a department store has opened a cinema on its premises.

Customers will have direct street access to the three screens in Oxford Street, as well as in-store access.

The 'Cinema at Selfridges’ is a partnership with London independent boutique cinemas Olympic Studios.

With prices ranging from £12 to £20, customers will be able to watch the latest blockbusters but also smaller, independent films.

If you can’t wait to watch your favourite movies, Selfridges ahve also launched a priority membership scheme including a free ticket allowance as well as other services.

The cinema will also provide food and beverages, with prices ranging from £8 to £19 for a rather luxurious food menu including meals such as 'Chargrilled Rump Steak and Horseradish Mayo Choux Bun' or 'Crispy Tortilla, Szechuan Prawn and Pico de Gallo.'

Cocktails and mocktails will also be available, as well as a vegan afternoon tea option.
