New Chelsea away kit: Pictures as Blues unveil new strip for 2020-21 season

Chelsea have unveiled their new away shirt for the 2020-21 campaign, stirring memories of the 2005-06 title-winning campaign.

The smart 'cobalt blue' strip includes a zig-zag design on the base of the shirt and the same 'Pride of London' detail seen on the home kit, which was officially launched by the club earlier this week.

The Blues have partnered with telecommunications giants Three, who take over from Yokohama Tyres as the club's main shirt sponsors for the next three years.

Chelsea will debut the new look against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

The pale blue jersey with dark trim resembles the away kit worn by Frank Lampard and team-mates as they romped to a second straight tile under Jose Mourinho.

Fast-forward 15 years and Lampard is leading the team, with the manager determined to bring in fresh faces to accompany the club's new on-field look.

The recruitment drive has already started, with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner officially becoming Chelsea players this week.

The pair are due to join up with their new team-mates later this month, but will not be eligible to play for the Blues until next term.

As part of their deal with Three, Stamford Bridge will be 5G-enabled within a year.
