New Boston Celtics wing Jordan Walsh had a better debut with the Sin City Celtics at Las Vegas Summer League than many expected, but at least some of his success might be attributed to what he has picked up from the Celtics organization since being picked up by the team in the 2023 NBA draft.
“I learned my first day going into Boston that everything affects winning,” explained Walsh after Boston’s 99-88 loss to the Summer Miami Heat via the Athletic’s Jay King. “Whether you’re on the bench, whether you’re just walking around in the street, maybe you’re just eating food, whatever you’re doing, everything affects winning.”
“So I want to take a real responsibility and real pride in everything that I do (that) affects the team in a positive way, affects the organization in a positive way to get another banner.”
Boston had a solid showing nearly from tip to buzzer with the ball club letting go of the rope late in the fourth quarter. https://t.co/qm9GqyjoSU

“That’s been my focus since Boston called my name to get me on their team,” added the former Arkansas Razorback.
And in the smallest of sample sizes on the NBA’s smallest of stages, so far, he has done exactly that on the court.
