Britain's Got Talent is returning to screens after more than a year off due to the pandemic. Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will be back on the judging panel for 2022 and have teased what's to come.
The BGT judges appeared on Good Morning Britain ahead of the series' start date this weekend to discuss the talent show's return. Speaking to entertainment editor Richard Arnold, Simon revealed there would be a "new" feature.
Simon also revealed that this year's stage saw some "really really" good auditions and he believes the latest series is a "better show" than before. Speaking about the show's return, Simon said: "I think it was a good thing that we had a year off. I genuinely do. For me, it's a better show this year.

"I think the acts are better, they're better prepared - they've used this time to rehearse more. I mean you'll see it, there really are some really really good people. I'm always nervous, I've got to be honest with you, before we make the show in case they're all terrible but I do think we have some really really good people."
Teasing a brand new feature called "a golden moment" Simon continued: "And then we have something new, which we're going to call 'a golden moment'. I won't say too much about but it's new and it's brilliant."
