Earlier this year, the newest addition to the Bristol nightlife scene announced its opening date. Following the success of its two London cocktail bars, Blame Gloria will open its city centre site this summer.
Launching on July 8, Blame Gloria provides a late-night cocktail offering until 3am. The new bar promises to provide 'an eccentric, loose, and super opulent venue'.
Blame Gloria will take over the former Timbuk2 site, a venue offering low arched ceilings, giving a sense of intimacy to a capacity of up to 400 guests. Its extensive list of cocktails, including the signature Sugar Daddy and the colour changing cocktail, Karma Chameleon, plan to bring the party goers of Bristol back time after time.

To celebrate the launch of Bristol's newest late night venue, 10 £100 bar tabs will be gifted to the public. And, to get your hands on them you'll have to bring out your best detective skills.
Ten of Gloria’s red stiletto heels will be dotted around Bristol city centre on Saturday (July 9), secretly placed in some of her favourite spots overnight. Those with an eager eye will be able to claim a £100 bar tab for Blame Gloria by returning the shoe to the bar, on Small Street, where a surprise will lay.
For those prepared for the hunt, Blame Gloria will be posting clues on its Instagram page throughout the day. All stilettos will include a note for Gloria directing her groupies to the cocktail bar to redeem the prize.
For those not able to attend the stiletto hunt on Saturday, there are a few spots left the VIP launch night on July 15 available to book through the Blame Gloria’s website. On the website, you’ll also find many more of Blame Gloria’s wild events, including the first Disco Diva’s Brunch on July 30.
Founder Tom Kidd said: “With our London bars already hugely popular, we’re thrilled to be branching outside of the capital and what better city to do so than the cultural hub of Bristol.
"The venue poses the perfect layout for Blame Gloria’s eccentric interiors offering a hot spot like no other for the people of Bristol. Alongside our outstanding cocktail offering, we also have many plans up our sleeve to keep up the momentum post launch.
"We can’t wait to reveal all over the coming months." One of the exciting events includes a night of free drinks for all those named Gloria - as well as an extra special lifetime of cocktails for those willing to make the huge commitment of changing their name.
