The son of former Ireland midfielder Graham Kavanagh has taken another huge step in his career - by signing a brand new contract with Championship side Middlesbrough.
Calum Kavanagh has committed himself to Boro until the summer of 2025.
The 18-year-old striker has been a regular goalscorer for the club’s Under-21 side and this season has opened his campaign with two goals in three PL2 matches.

He even made the first-team squad for the first time earlier this month when Middlesbrough lost to Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.

Kavanagh, a Boro academy product, scored his first goal in senior football during a loan spell last year at League Two side Harrogate.
