Boots is upped its skincare game with the launch of new No7 skincare products containing a 'world-first super ingredient' to help reverse the signs of skin damage.
Skin damage is something that all of us will have to deal with at some point in the modern world given that it's caused by factors like sun exposure, environmental pollution and stress.
Luckily, the Boots No7 Future Renew Collection, which is set to drop in-stores and online from Wednesday, April 12, contains a new super-peptide blend promising to boost the skin's natural repair process.
The retailer's new four-piece collection contains an SPF40 Day Cream, Night Cream, Serum and Eye Serum priced between £24.95 and £34.95.
Each product in the innovative new line features the 'super peptide' blend which will aid the renewal of over 50 key protein cells in the skin, reversing signs of skin damage including wrinkles, dryness, fine lines, loss of firmness, lack of luminosity and uneven skin tone.
The experts over at No7 have said that the peptide blend is a world-first technology that cannot be found in any other product and has come after 15 years of research and innovation.
A team of over 50 scientists worked together on the new peptide blend that was developed using cutting edge British R&D across several fields of science and technology including advanced robotics, mathematical modelling, bioinformatics, machine learning, cell biology and cosmetic science.
What's even better, is that the new No7 super peptide blend is said to be both highly potent and highly tolerable for most skin types, even those with sensitive skin, making it available for many consumers.
Over 4,200 people have taken part in 37 studies, including two clinical trials and 23 user trials, of the No7 Skin Renew Range, in what Boots have called the "most extensive and diverse testing programme in No7’s history."
The results found that 97 percent of women in the clinical study who used the No7 Future Renew Damage Reversal Serum had improvements in the appearance of multiple (three or more) visible signs of skin damage.
No7’s Head of Science Research, Dr Mike Bell, said: "Skin damage happens throughout our lives and is caused by multiple factors including sun exposure, environmental pollution, stress, sleep, temperature and nutrition. The new peptide blend effectively tricks the skin into thinking that it has been damaged which leads to renewal of key proteins such as collagen and fibrillin.
"It therefore supports skin’s natural self-repair mechanisms, targeting signs of cumulative damage both on and under the surface. This is a world-first technology only available from No7. We believe it is going to be a game changer for consumers."
The new No7 Future Renew range will be available nationwide at Boots stores, Boots.com and no7beauty.co.uk from Wednesday, April 12.
