Blur have shocked Scots fans with their choice of artwork for the iconic band's comeback album 'The Ballad of Darren'.
The Britpop band have chosen a snap of Gourock's lido for their ninth album, sharing it to their Instagram on Thursday.
They posted a snap of the album cover alongside the caption: "The Ballad of Darren, out 21st July 2023."
And fans were quick to pressure the band for some Scottish tour dates.
@murray_mcmillan wrote: "Seeing as that’s in Gourock, Scotland and I can see the pool from my house, I think we deserve a Scottish date "
@ellaamillerr_ added: "Since this is the Gourock pool how about a show in Inverclyde ?"
Other fans were delighted at the announcement.
ciao_mads wrote: "Ooo I Can't wait!"
And @jas.hana chimed: "IM LOSING MY MINDDD"
The picture was captured by British photographer Martin Parr in 2004 and shows a lone man, Ian Galt swimming in the popular pool.
He was unaware of the photo being taken and found out about it years later when a friend saw it in an exhibition in Glasgow.
The band announced details of the album, which will be their first new music in eight years, on Thursday alongside a single ‘The Narcissist’.
