Northern Ireland's food and drink scene is continuing to grow from strength to strength with our talent being recognised across the UK.
Whether you are looking for a Michelin Star meal, a creamy pint or a relaxed coffee shop, there is no shortage of fantastic venues in every corner of the city.
Over the last number of months, a handful of new places have popped up across Belfast to complement the long-standing players in our hospitality industry.

Here are some of the newer bars, cafes and restaurants that opened this year to check out in 2023:
TETTO
After a fire back in March forced Babel at the Bulitt Hotel to close, Tetto reopened in October with a bright, modern, design-led restaurant, bar and garden with breathtaking panoramic views of Belfast city.
Offering something unique in Northern Ireland, Tetto showcases fresh local seafood with an Italian accent alongside sourdough pizza and imaginative aperitivo-inspired cocktails.
Roam
Roam on Callendar street offers the finest local ingredients served in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, featuring a changing, seasonal a la carte style menu in the heart of Belfast.
Born out of a love for food, Roam started out as a pop-up concept aiming to provide a unique dining experience.
White's Beer Hall
White's Tavern on Winecellar Entry has been around since the 17th century, making it one of the city's oldest bars.
In October, they opened their newest extension, White's Beer Hall, offering great stout, high-quality cocktails and serving food daily in an authentic setting.
Alba Steakhouse
A Scottish Steakhouse opened in October and is situated on the edge of the Cathedral Quarter in the heart of Belfast city centre.
Alba serves the highest quality Aberdeen Black Angus beef and uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients in their relaxed and tranquil restaurant.
Ragin' Ramen
Ragin' Ramen is one of the newest ventures to open in the city in 2022.
Located on Church Lane in the heart of the city centre, it is set to be a new go-to for Asian cuisine in Belfast - serving ramen, snacks and sake.
Broker
The latest venture by award-winning hairstylist turned restaurant owner Peter McCloskey, Broker is a new hot spot in the popular Ballyhackamore area of East Belfast.
Broker is a brunch and coffee shop by day turned winebar by night offering delicious small plates in their fully licenced restaurant.
Southside Social
Located off Botanic Avenue in South Belfast, Southside Social is a new "neighbourhood bar" beside Town Square in the heart of the city's thriving student area.
Opened in November, what makes the new Lower Crescent bar a unique spot on the city's hospitality scene is its addition of a Chinese takeaway Lucky Duck Chinese inside the venue.
Monad
Monad, Belmont Road has recently opened on the popular high street and is promising customers an array of high-quality food and drink in a relaxed and casual environment.
It has a focus on natural wines and cocktails, which have been developed by Deana Ferguson and they have also partnered up with Boundary Brewing to offer a selection of beers and ales.
Juls at Shu
A 2022 addition to the ever-popular Lisburn Road restaurant.
This hidden South Belfast gem is located in the basement Jul’s is a cocktail bar and restaurant with a later night, laid-back vibe and the same menu as the main room.
