A new piece of promotional art for Avengers: Endgame gives an even better look at the new Quantum Realm suits than the recently released trailer. The picture shows characters such as Rocket Raccoon, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Nebula and War Machine wearing the shiny new red, white and grey suits that debuted in the latest trailer.
The suits are expected to be used in a sequence that sends the surviving Avengers into the Quantum Realm, where it is rumoured that they will connect with those lost in Avengers: Infinity War’s decimation.
Half the universe’s population was lost at the end of Infinity War, when the villainous Thanos snapped his fingers. Ant-Man and the Quantum Realm have long been rumoured to play an important part in Endgame, in which the remaining characters will stage a last stand against Thanos.
The promotional picture seems to be a part of previously released images whose veracity was corroborated by the trailer. Details such as hairstyles and suits were all revealed months ago in similar leaks. Black Widow has her new red hair, which some have speculated, suggests several years will pass in Endgame before the Avengers embark upon their mission, and Captain America has shaved off his Infinity War beard.
This new picture also provides the clearest look yet at Don Cheadle’s War Machine, who appears to have undergone a major look transformation. His suit looks bulkier, and more heavily armed.
Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and others. The film is directed by Joe & Anthony Russo and is slated for an April 26 release.
