New Arsenal Adidas kit: Launch date for 'leaked' 2022/23 home shirt as £300m deal is vindicated

Details have apparently emerged online of the new home kit that Arsenal could wear next season. Once again the club's kit will be designed by Adidas who have their work cut out to top the current one.

This season when the Gunners have been in action at the Emirates Stadium or when avoiding a colour clash when playing away from home, they have sported a traditional red shirt with white sleeves and white panels down the sides of the body in a manner similar to the kit Ajax are famous for. Now, thanks to @semihkececioglu who has uploaded the first pictures of Arsenal's 2022/23 home kit to Twitter, fans have been given a glimpse into the subtle changes made by Adidas.

As per Footy Headlines, 'Arsenal's 2022-23 jersey is, of course, red and white - in terms of design, the main feature of the Arsenal 22-23 home kit is its collar, which is a polo-style one that is white with a red zig-zag graphic going around the rear. The sleeves of the new Arsenal 2022-2023 home shirt are white apart from a red panel on the lower part, matching the color (sic) of the 3 Stripes.' Furthermore, the website states the new kit is set to be launched in May 2022. Whether that will be in time for the final home game of the season against Everton remains to be seen, but fans will be hoping the shirt graces the Champions League next term.

Furthermore, recent research has vindicated Arsenal's decision to partner with Adidas as Club Kit Showdown revealed back in October that Adidas is the leading manufacturer of the top 50 Premier League kits of the past five seasons. The study concluded that Adidas dominated, making 40% of the top 50 kits, a whopping 8% more than fierce rival Nike and that teams wearing Adidas-made shirts have also recorded the most points across the last five campaigns, accumulating 289 points, 107 points more than Nike.
