Channel 4’s 24 Hours in A&E will return to screens from Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre to mark the NHS' birthday. On Monday, July 10 at 9pm the first of four new episodes from series one, filmed at the QMC in 2021, will be broadcast.
These will help acknowledge the NHS' 75th anniversary on Wednesday, 5 July. Anthony May OBE DL, Chief Executive at Nottingham University Hospitals, said: “We are proud to be the home of 24 Hours in A&E. The first seven episodes were aired earlier this year.
"Viewers witnessed the incredible work of our teams and saw their dedication, passion and skill in providing care to those in need. The release of four new episodes in July is a proud moment for everyone here at NUH, and a great way to celebrate 75 years of the NHS.” During September and October 2021, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust welcomed cameras into the Emergency Department (ED) at QMC for the first series to be filmed outside of London.
