Neville Southall getting 'sick and tired' hearing same thing about Everton all season

Neville Southall insists he is growing both 'sick and tired' of the same excuses being used to describe Everton's fortunes this season.

The Toffees are once again embroiled in a battle to remain in the Premier League and now have just five games remaining in an attempt to survive the drop.

Facing off against fellow strugglers Leicester City later this evening, Southall took to social media to vent his frustrations, with another crucial three points up for grabs against the Foxes.

''Getting sick and tired of hearing this is a must-win game,'' he began via Twitter earlier today. ''They all were and are that’s how you win a league. Mentality has to be that every game every season.''

Since the start of the calendar year, Everton have mustered just three wins in the Premier League, with their last triumph away from home coming back in September of last year at Southampton.

With Brighton, Manchester City, Wolves and Bournemouth all still to come, there's no let-up for Sean Dyche's side who once again only have themselves to blame this season.

Supporters once again have vented their frustrations regarding the hierarchy and ownership at Goodison Park, with visible protests and increased scrutiny once again reaching a boiling point over on the blue half of Merseyside.
