Former English Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher was surprised that Mohamed Diomande was sent off in Rangers' 3-1 win over Dundee United yesterday.
The midfielder was shown a red card in stoppage time for raising his arm following an altercation with United central defender Kevin Holt.
Referee Nick Walsh immediately ordered the 23-year-old off, and even after being asked to review the decision on the pitchside VAR monitor, he stuck with his decision.

On Monday morning's Sky Sports 'Ref Watch' show, Gallagher let his thoughts on the incident be known: "I was A) Surprised the red card came out and B) Surprised that when Nick was sent to the screen, he stuck with his original decision," he said.
"It does prove that when you got the screen that all options are available.
"He gets a push, twice, he raises his arms - does he connect with his face? Does he mean to connect with his face? The other thing to remember is brutal or malicious but I don't think it's either."
Sue Smith added: "It's a real surprise. It's never a red card in a million years. I've watched it from all different angles. I just can't see how it's a red card - he gets pushed, he is just moving away from him."
Rangers manager Philippe Clement said post-match that he didn't even try to speak to Walsh after the incident.
The Belgian, though, confirmed the Ibrox club would appeal Diomande's red, with him currently in line to miss Sunday's game against Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
He can play midweek in the UEFA Europa League, however, with Rangers set to round off their league phase campaign against Union St. Gilloise on Thursday.
