Nevada is stepping up to assist in the firefight against the Palisades Fire in Southern California by sending resources from multiple fire agencies. Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo announced the deployment of firefighting assets to help combat one of the worst fires in recent history. The Palisades Fire, which is the largest among several fires burning in Los Angeles County, has already scorched over 15,800 acres, destroyed at least 1,000 structures, and forced thousands of residents to evacuate.

California Governor Gavin Newsom highlighted the depletion of resources and welcomed support from neighboring states. In response to the urgent situation, states like Oregon, Arizona, and Utah are sending assistance to aid in controlling the devastating wildfires. The collaborative effort among these states underscores the importance of solidarity and mutual aid during times of crisis.
