There looks to be trouble ahead for stalker Joe Goldberg in the fourth season of Netflix 's You, with a trailer teasing that he won't be the only killer within his new circle of friends.
The upcoming season will be set in the UK, as serial killer Joe (played by Penn Badgley ) has relocated to London. He has reinvented himself as Professor Jonathan Moore.
His new life includes being acquainted with a privileged circle of socialites. Among the group is Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), who becomes the latest object of his affections.
A trailer for the first part of the new season - which will be released next month - reveals that he can't escape his past though. And the tables may have turned on Joe this time.
He is set to become the one being stalked. Joe - now a university professor - is seen receiving texts from a mysterious sender, who seems to be watching his every move.
It's teased that they know about everything that has come before. One scene in the trailer shows Joe discovering a wall covered in newspaper clippings related to his past.
Things become even more complicated as there appears to be a killer targetting the group. Joe is left to figure out their identity, whilst trying to suppress his own impulses.
"I ran away from all this but one of you is watching me. One of you is hiding in plain sight. So who are you?" he narrates during part of the newly-released trailer for the show.

As well as introducing viewers to a host of new characters, the trailer also teases the return of Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle). She had previously appeared in the third season.
The librarian had caught Joe's attention and was almost murdered by his late wife Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). It's no surprise she appears terrified when she bumps into him.
The first season of You aired in 2018, with the second and third seasons released in 2019 and 2021 respectively. Its upcoming fourth season will be released in two parts.
You returns on Netflix next month. The first part of the fourth season will be released on February 9. The second instalment is set to be available from March 9.
