Netflix star Julia Haart is no longer being sued by her ex-husband Silvio Scaglia – but she still plans on suing him for defamation.
The My Unorthodox Life star, 51, has been accused of using funds from Elite World Group – where she previously worked as CEO alongside her estranged husband.
Silvio had accused the businesswoman of using company funds to pay for breast enhancement surgery in December 2021.
Court documents previously claimed that Julia abused her role within the Elite group and overspent on the company "dime" – while Julia claimed she didn't receive a salary and that she had previously agreed all her expenses would be paid for by Elite.
Now, it's been claimed by TMZ that Julia and Silvio have reached an agreement in which he has dropped his $850k lawsuit and she will not chase her ex to cover her legal fees.
Speaking to the publication, the mum-of-four said: "I believe the fact that Silvio withdrew these cases with prejudice, meaning dismissed permanently, on the day discovery was due, speaks volumes.
"No money was paid by me and I intend to continue to pursue my fraud and defamation litigation against Silvio and others named in those cases.
"Now my focus and priority is to heal through the strength and support of my family and to continue to build businesses that will empower others."
Silvio had claimed that Julia withdrew $850k from the company despite allegedly being allowed to withdraw just $250k.
The Moscow-born businesswoman who launched her career after leaving the Ultraorthodox community of Monsey, New York, was fired from her role at Elite World Group in February and filed for divorce hours after before applying for a restraining order.
Julia and her family were in the process of filming season two of their Netflix show My Unorthodox Life when the drama unfolded.
Ms Haart claimed that somebody working for Scaglia had entered their Tribeca penthouse during the night and removed pieces of artwork from the walls while she and her family were sleeping.
She claimed she was "completely blindsided" by Scaglia's actions following her dramatic exit from the company which also saw several of her employees fired.
Despite Scaglia dropping his lawsuit against Haart, their divorce is yet to be finalised after she had initially filed for divorce in a Manhattan courthouse, just two years after the pair said: "I do".
Elite World Group/Silvio Scaglia have been approached for comment.
