The first season followed the chaotic life of now-imprisoned zoo-owner Joe Exotic and the shady characters involved in illegal big cat ownership.
“When you think you’ve seen it all...you haven’t quite seen it all,” Joe Exotic’s voice says over a montage of clips, some of which feature Joe in prison.
“An innocent man is in prison,” Joe says in a phone call. “If you give a damn, it’s time to speak up.”
The new season appears to follow the lives of everyone featured in the first, including Jeff and Lauren Lowe and Carole Baskin. Baskin’s potential involvement in ex-husband Don Lewis’s death is brought up in the trailer, along with a clip from an interview with a man who claims that Lewis was involved with dangerous people prior to his death.

The trailer also teases the Free Joe Exotic movement and former President Donald J. Trump’s (lack of) involvement.
“If I have to make a deal with the devil,” Joe continues in his phone call. “I will make a deal with the devil.”
Tiger King 2 will premiere on Netflix on November 17.
