Nestle Quality Street fans divided as discontinued sweet returns for Christmas

Quality Street have unveiled plans to bring back an old favourite sweet.

This year's Christmas tubs of the Nestlé chocolates will see the return of the Honeycomb Crunch. Taking to social media, Quality Street makers wrote: "It's that time again…..We're BACK in John Lewis & Partners with a NEW tin and an exclusive sweet…the Honeycomb Crunch!"

While many sweet-toothed customers were made up with the news, others couldn't help but be disappointed. Many called for the Coffee Creme treat to make a return instead.

Shoppers took to the comments of the post to share their thoughts. One user wrote: "I’m not buying any until you bring back the coffee cream."

June said: "Can't stand honeycomb crunch. It's boring, bring back coffee creams." A third added: "Every year I type the same thing. Bring back the COFFEE FONDANT!"

In 2021, Nestle asked the public which retro chocolate they'd like to see make a comeback, and the Coffee Creme was overwhelmingly voted for.
