Nelly apologizes for oral sex video posted on Instagram: It was ‘never meant to go public’

Whoa, Nelly!

Nelly has apologized for a sexually explicit video that appeared on the rapper’s Instagram page earlier this week, featuring a woman performing oral sex on him.

The video was quickly deleted from the Grammy Award-winning rapper’s page, but not before some of his followers captured screen recordings and reposted them.

“I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family,” the 47-year-old Texas native, whose name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., told US Weekly.

“This is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public,” he added.

The apology comes just days after Nelly commented on an Instagram post by Madonna, in which the queen of pop appeared wearing fishnet tights and gloves, lace panties, high-heeled boots and a black leather cap.

“Some things should just be left covered up,” he wrote.

It also comes just months after the “Hot in Herre” rapper ended his long-term relationship with Shantel Jackson.

In August, the 37-year-old model responded to a fan on Instagram who had asked if the two were still together.

“No, we’re not,” she wrote. “Just Friends.”
