Neil 'Razor' Ruddock says he's delighted with his sex life after quitting the 'Deliveroo diet' and losing seven stone.
The former footballer, 54, ballooned to 27 stone during lockdown before having a gastric sleeve fitted.
He had the operation after bumping into TOWIE's Arg, who lost 13 stone after having the procedure.
Now Razor has now opened up about the positive effects of the surgery - including the effect on his sex life with wife Leah, 41.
Speaking from his home in Kent, where he lives with his wife of 10 years and their two daughters, he joked: “How could my sex life get any better?
He added: “I’m ‘Reset Razor’ now. I could see myself as a high-end wellness coach. I’ve got the experience of the health, the football, the training and now the surgery," reports Daily Star.
Razor revealed in 2020 how his heart stopped beating during surgery to have a pacemaker fitted, which he gets checked every six months.
However, it wasn't the heart operation that gave him the wake-up call.
He explained: “I was on the ‘Deliveroo diet’, getting lazier and lazier – sitting on my backside ordering food all day. It was booze and food – it’s an addiction. And what do you want to do when you get p****d? Eat – kebabs and that."
Razor had the gastric sleeve procedure, which removed three quarters of his stomach, in September last year.
Speaking about the operation, he said: “It was brilliant – there was no pain, just a bit of wind. I had the operation on Thursday and by Saturday was walking on the beach with my wife and kids.”
Admitting he "cheated death" with his old lifestyle, Neil told MailOnline he can still eat what he wants, but "only about four mouthfuls".
He also said the band has "taken some hormones away" explaining that he can now drive through McDonald's with his kids and not order anything for himself, whereas before he would eat even if he "wasn't hungry".
However, he refuses to stop drinking totally, telling the Star: “I still get p***ed! But I have white wine now.”
TOWIE'S Arg recently reassured fans he was "healing" well after having "life changing" surgery to remove excess skin, following his gastric band operation.
The star underwent a tummy tuck in January and said he has never felt more confident.
Taking to Instagram, the 35-year-old shared a post-surgery selfie, saying the past year had been "incredible".
Alongside the picture, in which he looks happy and healthy, he said: "The last year has been incredible and life-changing".
