Netflix have finally unveiled a trailer for brand new comedy series called Uncoupled starring Neil Patrick Harris.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the streaming service shared a first look trailer of the eight-part show which was created by Darren Star.
Darren is best-known for his work on Sex and the City and much-loved Netflix series Emily in Paris.
Uncoupled follows the life of Michael Lawson (Neil Patrick Harris), whose 17-year marriage comes crashing down when his husband blindsides him by walking out the door.
Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares - losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-forties in New York City.
The two-minute trailer begins with Colin (Tuc Watkins) telling Michael that he's moving out.
"Do you have any idea what it's like to be single again for a gay man at my age?" Neil's character is heard saying as viewers are introduced to his best friend Suzanne (Tisha Campbell).
"Oh men, do we love 'em for the d*ck or the date?" she asks Michael as he replies: "Oh the great debate!"
The clip alludes to hilarious sex scenes, plenty of drama and sees Michael trying to adapt to single life.
Darren said of the upcoming series: "I think we’ve all had breakups, and it’s about a breakup. It’s about a gay man who’s [in his] late 40s, who’s single in New York — and it’s an experience that I can relate to and know a lot of people that have gone through it."
The show's producer Jeffrey Richman added: "We couldn’t hope for a more perfect home for Uncoupled than Netflix. A romantic comedy with a gay leading man; it is a passion project for us that feels both personal and universal."
Uncoupled premieres on Netflix on July 29.
