Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon says youngster Kyle Ure can be the future captain of the club.
The midfielder has been a regular for the B team this season and recently penned a new two-year deal at Parkhead.
Ure has impressed both domestically and in the UEFA Youth League, where Celtic have progressed to the last 32.
He is highly thought of in Glasgow's east end, and Lennon, who made just shy of 300 appearances as a player in green and white before going on to become manager, reckons the 19-year-old has a high ceiling: "Kyle Ure has played really well in the UEFA Youth League, and it’s great to see him signing an extension with Celtic," he told casino-uden-rofus.co.

"There will no doubt be suitors looking on, but it’s great that he has pledged his future to the club because there are some great role models in the building including Callum McGregor who he can look up to.
"Everyone at Celtic is delighted to have him on board and now is the time to develop him into a first team player where he can really mature. I think the club can get the best out of him and with his leadership qualities, why can’t he even be a future captain."
A deep-lying left-footed central midfielder, comparisons between Ure and current Celtic skipper McGregor aren't wide of the mark.
The youngster will look to once more catch the eye when Celtic's B side face off against RB Salzburg in Austria in the last 32 of the youth Champions League next Wednesday.
Another teenager hot on the lips of the Parkhead faithful is Rocco Vata.
He swapped Celtic for Watford in the summer and Lennon reckons his departure may turn out to be a loss: "The sale of Rocco Vata could end up being a big blow for Celtic," he said
"He is a very talented player and has already scored some wonderful goals for Watford.
"The reason he left the club was probably because he felt his progress was blocked by the quality that Celtic have in their first-team squad. Sometimes it's always important to move on and get game time at that age and Vata is taking full advantage of that.
"Who knows where his career could go, but he's made a great start at this time at Watford."
