Defiant Neil Lennon reckons the end of his Celtic spell means he is more than ready for life at Omonia Nicosia.
The former Parkhead boss made his return to the game last week in Cyprus as he was held to a 2-2 draw in his first game at the helm.
The post has come with several warnings from a host of big names in what has proven a minefield for managers.
Steven Pressley and John Carver are among those who has warned Lennon over the fan pressure having previously been axed in Pathos.
However, Lennon insists he has no fear over the job after the furious response from supporters towards the end of his Celtic tenure.
There were vocal protests from fans outside of Celtic Park during the nightmare campaign that saw Rangers lift the title and end the 10 In A Row bid.
He told The Sun: “I know it’s an environment where there’s been a lot of managerial changes, but most leagues everywhere else are.
"Henning (Berg) was here two and a half years — and if I can do the same I’ll be delighted.
“I know what it’s going to take for that to happen, but that doesn’t faze me. I’ve never shirked a challenge in my life.
“Look, I have been Celtic manager twice.
"My last season was toxic and highly pressured, so I feel I can pretty much cope with most situations.
“I love what I’m hearing about the fans here, their emotion and passion for the club. I can’t stop telling people how excited I am about this opportunity.
“I’ve been impressed by everyone at the club. I’ll give my all to bring success to Omonia Nicosia.”
