Neil Lennon in firm Celtic record defence as he still has 'fire in the belly' for next challenge

Confident Neil Lennon insists his "CV's not too bad" as he looks for his first job since leaving Celtic.

Lennon left Parkhead under a cloud in last February in the midst of a disastrous title defence as Rangers romped to Premiership success.

But across two spells in Glasgow's east end he brought 10 pieces of major silverware to Celtic Park and qualified for the Champions League knockout stages.

He has been linked with several jobs, including the vacant post at Aberdeen following the departure of Stephen Glass, as well as at Hibs and Sunderland.

However, Lennon has not returned to the dugout since the nightmare end to his Celtic tenure.

He remains confident about his track record and is keen to find another club.

When asked in FourFourTwo what was next for him after leaving Celtic, he said: "Well, I’m certainly not ready for retirement.

"The hunger remains, the fire in my belly is still there and I’m in love with the game as much as I’ve ever been.

"I’d love another crack at management – and even if I say so myself, I don’t think my CV’s too bad..."
