FORMER Celtic boss Neil Lennon has won his first trophy in charge of Omonia Nicosia.
The Hoops hero guided his new side to Cypriot Cup glory, with a penalty shoot-out win over Ethnikos Achnas.
It was far from plain sailing for the ex-Hibs manager though, as he saw his team reduced to ten men after only FIVE minutes.
Shehu Abdullahi was shown a straight red in the opening stages.
However, the game went the distance, as it finished 0-0 at the end of 90-minutes and then extra-time.
Omonia then went on to lift the cup after a tight 5-4 shoot-out victory, as Lennon added to his already trophy-laden career.
The former Celtic midfielder was appointed as boss by Nicosia in March, his first management gig since leaving Parkhead in 2021.
His team have lost once since his arrival and made the final after a 3-1 semi-final win over Anorthosis across two legs.
