Heart of Midlothian head coach Neil Critchley was left bewildered by the final scoreline after his side fell to a 3-1 defeat against Rangers in their Scottish Premiership clash at Tynecastle.
The Jambos produced a spirited performance on home turf but were ultimately undone by moments of quality from Philippe Clement’s side, with the visitors forcing two own goals from Jamie McCart.
“I'm scratching my head a little bit, to be honest with you,” Critchley told Sky Sports. “I don't think 3-1 is a fair reflection of the game. I don't think the outcome tells you the story of the game.
"I think we've been the better team. I think we've had more of the ball, more passes, more chances, and we just didn't take our chances. Unfortunately we got punished at the other end. They got a bit of luck again for their second goal but there were so many positive things to take away.
"I thought we played really well on the front foot and looked like the team I want us to be, just not clinical."

Asked if he felt Hearts should've had a penalty for a foul on James Wilson by Rangers' Clinton Nsiala when the match was finely poised at 1-1, Critchley stated: "Maybe, I've not seen that one back yet.
"We should've stopped them from getting to the edge of the box, we could've counter-pressed and protected our attack much better by being more aggressive, Adam [Forrester] has made a terrific block and it's fallen straight to [Vaclav] Cerny, he hit it and it goes in.
"But we've created numerous chances today, more than they have, and we have just not taken them.
"I thought we defended well, we competed well, we transitioned well, tactically we were very good, but we just lacked that bit of quality in the final moment."
