Neighbours ' star Ryan Moloney has teased a new career as fans prepare to say goodbye to the Australian soap opera - which will end later this week with a double-episode finale.
The actor, 42, joined the show as Jarrod Rebecchi - who's better known as 'Toadfish' and 'Toadie' - in 1995, with him having been a regular resident on Ramsay Street ever since.
Viewers are about to bid farewell to the character and others in the fictional suburb of Erinsborough as the soap - which airs on Channel 5 in the UK - will be ending this week.
Ahead of the final episodes, Ryan has teased that he may now pursue a surprising new career - as he looks to future after having played Toadie on the show for almost 30 years.
Discussing his future, the actor commented recently: "I'm not ruling anything out. I'm doing a civil construction course which is about driving excavators and building roads."
He made the admission to the Daily Telegraph in Australia, as reported by the Sun, with him further telling the outlet that he enjoys manual labour - though he has no set plans.
Ryan said: "I like playing with those kinds of machines. I like doing earthworks, all that kind of manual labour stuff. That's where I'm at, but who knows where it's all going to end up."

The Celebrity Big Brother alum is understood to have trained as a pilot some years ago, with him having previously teased that it could be a career for him in the future.
And the actor recently revealed to the Herald Sun that he had been planning to leave Neighbours had it not been axed - though he's "grateful" to have stayed until the very end.
Ryan said he felt now was the time to leave, though added: "But I have always said I want to ride the wave all the way to shore, so I am actually really grateful I got to do that."
