The first of five planned ‘neighbourhood’ private members clubs in London, where local businesses and residents can gather, will launch in the final quarter of the year in Islington.
The first branch of The Dally will be a 4,000 square feet site on Upper Street featuring a restaurant, lounge, bar and it will offer a programme of events.
Membership will be £65 per month and the target is for five clubs in the first five years. Areas being looked at include Dulwich and Wimbledon.
Caroline Baldwin, the founder, majority owner and chief executive of The Dally said: “We want to revolutionise the industry with neighbourhood clubs that provide an inclusive space for local communities to play, network and socialise, without having to leave the area that they love.”
Baldwin, who has previous experience in the shipping and hospitality sectors, is working with co-founder Claire ilardi-Crow. She will be chief marketing officer and is a former consultant for private members’ clubs and co-working spaces.
Atif Amin, a former managing director of the Creams dessert cafe chain will be finance boss.
