A woman who terrorised her neighbours has been jailed after ignoring an anti-social behaviour order.
Janet Weir, of Oaklea Crescent, Blantyre, played loud music, threatened neighbours and coughed at police officers while claiming to have covid.
The 43-year-old appeared from custody at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week and admitted a string of charges including police assault and threatening or abusive behaviour.
Weir was served with an ASBO in December 2020, but police were called when she threw a brick at a neighbour's car on March 5 last year, Lanarkshire Live reports.
She told onlookers she would "stab the f*** out of you".

Abby Seal, prosecuting, said: "None of them went near the accused as they were fearful of her.
"She threatened to kill police officers and spat at one officer, the spittle landing on his leg.
"Weir then pulled the mask from his face, coughed towards him and his colleague and shouted 'I've got COVID. I hope you die.'
"The two officers had to isolate as a result of this."
Police returned to Oaklea Crescent after midnight on March 30 last year after a complaint about loud music coming from Weir's home.
Through the living room window they could see her dancing on top of a coffee table.
She again shouted abuse, made threats and kicked and spat at two officers.
Then on September 16, Weir verbally abused a neighbour and when police officers arrived she yelled 'I'm going to kill yous'
Yet again she spat at an officer as she was being arrested.
Weir also admitted breaching her ASBO and offending while on bail.
She has been held in prison since her arrest in September.
Sheriff Thomas Millar deferred sentence until next month for a criminal justice social work report.
Weir was again remanded in custody.
