Need a new iPhone? Apple has made the ultimate upgrade way more affordable

Apple has just made switching to a new iPhone 14 much more affordable. That's all thanks to the US tech giant upping the amount it will give customers back when they hand over their old devices. In fact, there's now up to £630 off a new device if you trade in an older model. That's a big jump from £590 which was the previous maximum you'd get for handing over a device.

Of course, not all iPhones are worth the same but if you fancy switching from an iPhone 13 Pro Max to an iPhone 14 you'll that full £630 reduction.

Explaining more, Apple said on its website, "Just add a trade-in when you choose a new iPhone. If you pay monthly, we’ll apply the value as instant credit to lower your monthly payments. If you pay in full, we’ll credit your payment method after we’ve received and verified your trade-in. Or we’ll recycle it for free."

Along with that massive discount, Apple is also now offering interest-free payments which means you can pay for the device without being hit by any additional fees.

That means even without a device to trade in you can buy the iPhone 14 for just £35.37 per month or the iPhone 14 Pro for £45.79 per month.

As a quick reminder, both of the new models get an improved camera, long battery life and life-saving features such as satellite texts and Crash Detection which rings the emergency services after a serious prang.

The Pro models also get a unique Dynamic Island at the top of the display which changes depending on the app you happen to be using.

The more expensive Pro also gets the improved A16 Bionic chip which improves power and efficiency.
