Neco Williams looks set to leave Liverpool this summer after two new clubs registered their interest in the Wales international’s services.
The Reds are not considering any loan offers for Williams, who spent the second half of last season with Fulham, and expect him to depart permanently this summer with the right-back highly coveted.
Liverpool have placed a £15m asking price on the 21-year-old, with Southampton and PSV Eindhoven both approaching the Reds about a possible transfer. However, the ECHO understands that Fulham remain the frontrunners to sign Williams following his successful loan last season, although Nottingham Forest are also in contention.

Having progressed through the Liverpool academy, the defender has made 33 appearances for the Reds since behind handed his debut by Jurgen Klopp in the League Cup against Arsenal back in October 2019. Meanwhile, he made 15 appearances on loan with the Cottagers, scoring two goals, as he helped Marco Silva’s side win promotion back to the Premier League.
While Liverpool have previously been willing to keep Williams if no suitable offers were forthcoming, the player has now edged closer to the exit door after helping Wales qualify for the 2022 World Cup, with the Reds on Sunday completing the signing of Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen to serve as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s understudy.
