Nebraska, Purdue miss four field goals in scoreless first half

There was an ugly 30 minutes of football on Saturday in West Lafayette, Indiana, as Purdue played host to Nebraska.

The teams went to the break scoreless, thanks in part to three missed field goals by the Cornhuskers and one by Purdue.

Incredibly, there were no turnovers. However, there were 12 penalties.

Nebraska woke up in the second half, scoring four touchdowns in a span of about 13 minutes bridging the third and fourth quarters en route to the Big Ten win.
