Nearly 30 people have been charged over riots in Perth on Australia Day that left two police officers injured.
Four youths were among the 18 males and 10 females charged with offences including riot, disorderly conduct and assault.
Police say they were called to Perth Train Station late on January 26 in response to reports of nearly 150 people fighting and throwing rocks and bottles.
They broke up the brawl but later that evening, officers were called to East Perth following reports of a mass fight close to McIver Train Station.
When police tried to break up the crowd, rioters threw bricks and broken pavers at them. Two officers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said 10 of the accused brawlers are scheduled to appear at Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, while the other 18 will face court at later dates.
"These arrests reinforce that WA Police Force will not tolerate antisocial or violent behaviour in our community and we will commit to fully investigating such matters," Assistant Commander Peter Healy said in a statement on Wednesday.
