NBC’s ‘Transplant’ Season 3 Premieres: Bash’s New Journey Begins

NBC’s Transplant: Season 3 – “Fracture” is expected to premiere tonight that tells the continuing new journey of Bashir “Bash” Hamed, who is played by Hamza Haq (“My Salinger Year”).

Transplant is also on CTV, which is also watched in Canada.

Bash is a Syrian War Refugee who arrived in Canada and the newest resident at York Memorial Hospital in Toronto.

“Bash’s story is a little different with threats being kicked out of the hospital,” said Haq about what to expect in season 3 of Bash. “He kind of gets to be a more well-rounded person. We’re seeing he’s falling into his confidence more.”

Continuing on his journey to start over, Bash is starting to realize of who he’s becoming in his adoptive country. He is pursuing Canadian citizenship for himself and his younger sister Amira (Sirena Gulamgaus, “Orphan Black”).

After a shock of events of Dr. Bishop’s departure, the team is adjusting to a new boss with a forward-thinking Dr. Neeta Devi, who is played by Rekha Sharma (“Yellowjackets”). Dr. Devi has big ideas when it comes to overhauling the emergency department at York Memorial.

“Transplant” also starts Laurence Leboeuf as Dr. Magalie “Mags” LeBlanc, Ayisha Issa as Dr. June Curtis, Jim Watson as Dr. Theo Hunter, Torri Higginson as head nurse Claire Malone, Gord Rand as Dr. Mark Novak and Sirena Gulamgaus as Amira.

“A lot is changing. Mags is going to be faced to having to face her past with her medical condition,” said Leboeuf of what to expect in season 3 of “Transplant.”

Joseph Kay serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Also, executive produced by Stefan Pleszczynski, Rachel Langer, Josee Vallee, Jocelyn Deschenes, and Bruno Dube.

Season 3 of “Transplant” will at 9:00 PM ET.
