NBA World Reacts to Kevin Durant’s Debut With Suns

Kevin Durant made his Suns debut on Wednesday night against the Hornets and helped his new team to a 105–91 victory in Charlotte.

It also marked Durant’s first game since Jan. 8, when he suffered an MCL sprain. He was traded to the Suns from the Nets on Feb. 9.

The 13-time All-Star showed out in his first game as a Sun, finishing with 23 points, six rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes. Out of all the starters, Durant played the fewest minutes. The other four starters each played 33 minutes. But Durant did record the second-highest point total on the night for Phoenix, behind only Devin Booker with a game-high 37 points.

The Suns improved to 34–29 and sit in fourth place in the Western Conference standings.

The NBA world was hyped to see Durant back on the court from the moment he made his first basket with his new team.

Here are some of the best reactions to Durant’s Suns debut on Wednesday.
