After three days off, the Golden State Warriors came out flat on Wednesday night at Chase Center. While the Warriors stacked up a pile of turnovers, the young Portland Trail Blazers made them pay.
Behind Shaedon Sharpe and and Anfernee Simons the Trail Blazers jumped out to an early lead and stretched their advantage to as much as 11 points. However, a spark from a pair of young players and the late arrival of Steph Curry swung the game back in favor of the Warriors.
Curry scored 22 of his 31 points in the second half to help lead the Warriors to a much-needed comeback win over the Trail Blazers, 110-106. Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody each produced productive minutes off the bench on Wednesday, scoring in double figures. Kuminga
After not playing in the first half, Kuminga played 17 minutes in the second half, scoring 13 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field.

"I'm really proud of JK … He was really the reason we won." 💪
Kerr praised JK's play down the stretch and explained why he wasn't in the rotation to start the game pic.twitter.com/G2tXmnZA6k

Warriors escape this one with a 110-106 win.
Curry's 31 points is why GSW won, but Kuminga's 13 points on 6/6 FG in 17 min. He didn't check in until late in the third but completely shifted the energy of this game. Kerr has a lot on his hands with rotation options.

Warriors escape the Blazers. One sub shifted the game. Jonathan Kuminga (out of scripted rotation) sat first 31 minutes. Steve Kerr finally went to him down 11 late third. He played final 17 minutes: 13 pts, 6/6 FG, defended Simons. Monster alley oop + steal in closing sequence.

Moody/Kuminga into the starting lineup for Wiggins/Loon?
— warriorsworld (@warriorsworld) December 7, 2023
I keep moody off the bench cuz he’s proved he can play well both units. Start JK and spam Steph dray pnr and DHO’s with Jk in the dunker spot https://t.co/JX8UQfdAGi

there were 4 possessions where kuminga had anfernee on a switch and saric and chris paul had a clear line pass to him but instead passed to each other for a miss
if those two want to play 1-2 man game man this aint the team to do it on i love saric but that was shitty game ngl

Moses Moody has scored 10+ points in each of the Warriors' last four games, averaging 14.3 points on 54.1% shooting in that span
Moody now has 10 games in double-digit scoring this season, only two fewer than all of last season

As opposed to all the games where they do not need youth and athleticism. https://t.co/8CAVi6Smyp
