NBA Twitter reacts to Warriors’ loss to Clippers despite Steph Curry dropping 33 points

In the first quarter against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, Steph Curry started the game with 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting with four 3-pointers on the way to a red-hot 33 point performance.

Despite Curry drilling eight triples against the Clippers, it wasn’t enough to seal a victory on Tuesday in Hollywood.

To pace Golden State’s Most Valuable Player candidate, six different members of the Clippers tallied double-figures in scoring. Terence Mann led the way for Los Angeles with 25 points 11-of-17 shooting from the field with seven boards and six assists.

Outside of Curry, the rest of the Warriors went cold. Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga each scored in double-figures but only combined for 36 total points.

After dropping 33 points in his best performance of the season on Saturday against the Los Angeles Lakers, Klay Thompon struggled with only seven points on 3-of-14 shooting in 27 minutes against the Clippers.

Following the Warriors’ third loss in their last four games, the NBA Twitter community weighed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Monday night.
