Riding a five-game losing streak, it looked like the Golden State Warriors were on their way to a much-needed win over the Oklahoma City Thunder following a clutch 3-pointer from Andrew Wiggins with 1.6 seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter.
However, 1.6 seconds was enough time for Chet Holmgren and the Thunder. Coming off an in-bound pass, Holmgren hit a tough turnaround triple at the buzzer over Chris Paul to send the game into overtime.
With an extra five minutes on the clock, the Warriors had no answer for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Thunder star point guard ripped off 10 of Oklahoma City’s 13 points to secure the road overtime win and extend Golden State’s losing streak to six straight.
Following the Warriors’ losing stretch following to six consecutive defeats, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with a flurry of reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Saturday night.

Curry on the Warriors’ six-game losing streak: “With a losing streak like this, there’s urgency for sure. When it’s this many in a row it’s a problem you’ve got to fix. You don’t want to develop a losing mentality.”

Holmgren is the first rookie with 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in a game since Luka Doncic in 2019, per @ESPNStatsInfo

That's six straight losses for the Warriors. Longer than any losing streak they had last season. They've gone from 6-2 to 6-8. Andrew Wiggins broke out for 31 points, but Thunder youth won out late. GSW will try to avoid 0-6 homestand vs Rockets on Monday.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dominated OT, scoring 10 points to seal this one for OKC (40 total). Thunder win 130-123. Holmgren finishes with 36 points and 10 rebounds

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander nails two high degree of difficulty mid-range jumpers and then blocks a Steph Curry stepback, which turns into a fastbreak layup. He has 40. Won this game down the stretch for the Thunder.

Steve Kerr never adequately filled the following roles on his staff from the '22 title team:
– Mike Brown (defense, attn to detail, rotations, accountability for staff/players)
– Andre Iguodala (staff-player liaison)
– Leandro Barbosa (vibes)— GERWALK IT OUT Stomped Too Hard (@RidicBowe) November 19, 2023
Prior to tonight.
Warriors' DRTG w/:
• Dario Šarić at the five: 116.6 (353 possessions)
• Šarić at the four: 102.4 (208 possessions)They just cannot leave Dario out there to be the lone big in lineups.

JK & Klay’s turnovers, Saric pnr defense & Klay’s defense vs Williams is why you lose that game. All happened in the 3rd quarter, & in the same 4-5 minutes.
