NBA Twitter reacts to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies both wearing white uniforms

The Oklahoma City Thunder’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday trended on social media for reasons that don’t involve the game. For the second time in as many seasons, there was a uniform mishap at Paycom Center.

Both the Thunder and Grizzlies entered the court wearing white-colored uniforms. After a brief delay, the Grizzlies returned back to the court after a quick change of clothes to their blue uniforms.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said he gives the Grizzlies for changing as quickly as they did. “I give them credit. They changed very quickly,” said Daigneault. “I saw orange uniforms and red uniforms last year, so the streak continues.”

Darius Bazley said that he was caught by surprise when he saw the Grizzlies players wearing white uniforms as well and jokingly said that they needed to get their things together.

NBA Twitter also had its fun with the uniform mishap. Let’s take a look at some of the funnier tweets.
