The Los Angeles Lakers continued their rise from the ashes on Friday by eliminating the Golden State Warriors from the NBA Playoffs in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals.
They didn’t just win — they dominated, and at times it almost seemed like they were toying with the defending champs. They jumped out to an early 27-10 lead and maintained a double-digit advantage for the majority of the contest.
After all that has happened to the organization over the last 19 months or so, what has transpired since just before the trade deadline has seemed like a miracle.
LeBron James and crew are now headed to the Western Conference Finals for only the second time since 2010, and fans on Twitter are excited.
