It’s never easy for the Golden State Warriors on the road. On the second leg of a road back-to-back, a battle broke out against the Washington Wizards in D.C.
The game was tight throughout, but the Wizards seized an eight-point lead with 9:31 remaining in the fourth quarter. With the Warriors looking like they were heading toward another loss on the road, Steph Curry and Draymond Green fueled a late run to spark Golden State.
Curry tallied 12 points in the final frame on 4-of-5 shooting from the field with a pair of 3s to go along with three rebounds and an assist in seven minutes. Green added 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to help seal a road win over the Wizards, 127-118.
After giving up 29 or more points in the first three quarters, Golden State’s defense held Washington to their lowest-scoring output of the game in the fourth quarter (25).
In Washington, Curry registered his best game since returning from a shoulder injury with a game-high 41 points on 12-of-28 shooting from the filed with six made 3s to go along with seven boards and two assists in 38 minutes.
Green notched a double-double with 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field with 10 assists, six boards and three assists in 35 minutes.
Four other members of the Warriors recorded double-figure scoring efforts, including Jordan Poole with 32 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the floor with six made triples.
After the Warriors tallied their fifth road win of the season, the NBA community on Twitter chimed in with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Monday afternoon.

Draymond Green went at it with a fan behind the scorer's table much of the night. Seemed to fire Green up. He had a monster second half, chirping at the fan after every big play. Bob Myers, Mike Dunleavy and Joe Lacob went up to the guy on their way out. Might've thanked him.

Warriors down the Wizards 127-118 in Washington. Curry dropped 41 points. Poole was on fire as well with 32 points.
Golden State had to get this one considering Boston and Cleveland are up next on the trip.
What are your thoughts on the win?
