NBA Twitter reacts to Steph Curry’s 34 point performance in Warriors’ thrilling win vs. Nuggets

After snapping a five-game losing streak with a win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors met the Denver Nuggets on Thursday for a rematch of Monday’s loss.

With players like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins back in the lineup for part two of the matchup, the Warriors took advantage.
Curry and reigning Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic traded haymakers in a back and forth thriller, but with the help of Jordan Poole, the Warriors had the final word.

Curry tallied a game-high 34 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the field with nine boards, three assists and two steals in 28 minutes to fuel Golden State’s 113-102 win in Denver.

In his fifth consecutive game with 20 or more points, Poole added 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor with seven assists and five boards in 34 minutes off the bench. With the Warriors clinging to a two-point lead with under a minute remaining, Poole closed the door on the Nuggets with back-to-back clutch 3-pointers late.

Following the start of the Warriors’ much-needed two-game winning streak, the NBA Twitter community chimed in with a flurry of different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Thursday night.
