DeMar DeRozan did it again.
Just hours after being named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season, Deebo put on a clinic against his former team, the San Antonio Spurs.
DeRozan dropped 40 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists on 16-of-24 shooting in Chicago’s 120-109 victory.
The All-Star starter notched his sixth-straight game with 35+ points, the first Bull to do so since Michael Jordan, per K.C. Johnson of NBCS Chicago. DeRozan also tied Wilt Chamberlain’s six-game streak of scoring 35 points while shooting 50% from the field, the longest streak in NBA history, per ESPN Stats & Info.
