With the NBA trade deadline one day away and his name attached to multiple rumors, Andrew Wiggins delivered one of his best performances of the 2023-24 season for the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday evening in Philadelphia.
For the second time this season, Wiggins notched a double-double in Golden State’s blowout win over the Philadelphia 76ers. In the 127-104 road win, Wiggins tallied a game-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field with a pair of made 3s. The Canadian forward added 10 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 23 minutes against the Sixers.
Wednesday marked the seventh time all season Wiggins tallied more than 20 points for the Warriors.

Wiggins says he doesn’t worry about the trade deadline because it’s out of his control. When asked if staying in Golden State is his preference, he said “for sure. I love the fans, the organization, the culture, all my teammates.”

If Wiggins can keep playing like this, the warriors will be a good team going forward (assuming dray doesn’t break down). The main reasons for the awful start were Wiggins looking like the worst rotation player in the league and dray not being able to stay on the court

Klay played well, Lester locked down Maxey, JK continued his rise and WIGGINS MIGHT JUST BE BACK.

Warriors defense has vastly improved these last few games. Draymond rim protection has been very key. They're doing a great job of helping each other in the paint. Wiggins defense is returning way back into form
