In 2022, the NBA’s trade deadline lived up to the hype. With several impact moves already in the books before deadline day, Thursday’s finale saw moves that included big name players like Ben Simmons, James Harden and Kristaps Porzingis.
However, when it came to the Golden State Warriors, it was quiet. Bob Myers, Steve Kerr and the rest of Golden State’s front office opted not to make a move at the 2022 deadline.

The Warriors didn't make a deadline move, I'm told. They're moving forward with the same 15 on the roster from opening night.

Following the decision for no trades at the deadline, the Golden State Warriors could ride out the rest of the season with the current 15 players on the roster, barring a move in the buyout market.
Kerr’s current rotation has resulted in a 41-14 record heading into deadline day. The Warriors sit behind only the Phoenix Suns with the second-best record in the Western Conference.
While the Warriors stood pat, the Suns added guards Torrey Craig and Aaron Holiday to the roster at the deadline.
Although the Warriors didn’t add a player with the deadline looming, the Warriors could be getting back Draymond Green and James Wiseman from injury in the second half of the season.
The Warriors will start their post-deadline campaign on Thursday night at Chase Center with a matchup against Julius Randle and the New York Knicks.
