A few lucky folks who ventured out to The Corner Note cafe in Dalkey on Sunday morning got to cross paths with a man famous for his crossover in Steph Curry.
The basketball icon is enjoying some time away with the NBA off-season in full swing.
The 34-year-old, widely acclaimed as the greatest shooter in the history of the sport, is coming off his fourth NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors so he could definitely do with some much-needed R & R after an incredible post-season run that saw them triumph despite going in as the third seed in the Western Conference.

Irish basketball fans were of course stunned at seeing such a legend of the sport on these shores.
Among those to comment under the post in the Dalkey Open Forum Facebook Page was Mandisa who said: "OMG!!! I’m dying!! I would have lost my mind!"
Similarly, Niamh added: "Wait Stephen Curry is in Ireland what!! Hold the phone before I faint."
It was cafe staff member Mary Caviston who shared the photos with the 6'3" ace towering over her, which funnily enough makes him relatively small by NBA standards.
She captioned it: "What a surprise we had today to welcome Stephen Curry ( No 1 basketball legend ) to The Corner Note, Dalkey. Classic window picture for sure."
The sense of FOMO was widespread as the post was widely shared across Twitter too.
Feargal tweeted: "So @StephenCurry30 is just knocking around Dalkey today, wtf?"
While Shane also said: "Steph Curry is hanging out in Dalkey. He's picked a lovely cafe too!"
Meanwhile Sam lived up to the old basketball adage of 'shooters shoot' by making the two-time league MVP a kind offer to provide him with somewhere to watch this evening's NFL fixtures as the American football season gets underway.
He joked: "@StephenCurry30 see you’re in Dalkey, Come watch Week 1 Redzone in Killiney."
