Gordon Hayward, known for his memorable half-court shot that nearly led Butler to a national title over Duke in the 2010 NCAA men's basketball championship game, officially announced his retirement from the NBA after a successful 14-season career. Throughout his time in the league, Hayward played for the Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, and Oklahoma City Thunder, earning an All-Star selection in 2017.

Over the course of 835 regular-season games, Hayward averaged 15.2 points, showcasing his skill and dedication to the sport.
